December Picnic – Tuesday 6th Dec.

You are invited to our next social gathering in the James Oates Reserve in Minnamurra.

The reserve is located near the Tennis Courts off Charles Ave, almost directly opposite the Federal St Intersection. It is about 10 a minute walk from the Kiama Golf Club or Minnamurra Station and borders a nice reserve and the entrance to Minnamurra Rivulet.

Whats Happening To My Brain?

The following is a short video in which I am attempting to use artistic license to show an interpretation of the changes that are occurring in my brain. This short three minute video represents about 100 hours of single frame editing to achieve my animation. Hopefully this will illustrate how amyloid plaques may  be degrading the way my neurons behave.

Dickensian Views

Recently at a Dementia conference I made a remark that the current model of dementia care was Dickensian in its view. I also added that I had added the “ensian” post fix to polite.

My view of the works of Mr Dickens is of pretty depressing world. But recent reflection leads me to add a new comment.
